Having a bad night so I thought I'd work on my poses. Still not great at it so I guess I'll keep working at it. I like the guys attitude though so I thought I'd upload it anyway :) I rushed the picture and then noticed how nice it looked as an effect. anyways here it is. Feel free to stone it to the ground.
I'll probably turn him into one of my little offside characters for my cartoon.

Hi Mitch
He looks very creepy. It looks like a skateboarding pose all crouched down like that.
I wonder what the meaning is of having the dagger pointed at himself?
A bit off balance. There's too much weight in his backside to hold that pose for long.
The LOA appears, to me, as an arc from his head, down his back, into his back foot. Then the legs break the LOA to give him an 'uncomfortable' appearence.
There are elements of conflict in the pose that lend weight to a disturbed character.
Hey mitch, frank's right, the pose doesn't suit too well. The perspective's shot, his feet are positioned strangely, but most importantly the character himself isn't appealing.
If he's a psycho knife fighter/killer he's not gonna have a fat arse. i'd recommend going the creepy thin guy all the way, or something of a lonney bin escapee, more of an oddly muscular physique.
the pinky out on the knife thing was cool though, a bit of pommy class, eh what.
Just my opinion on what could make the character better.
